What Is the Santa Fe Indian Market?
Santa Fe Indian Market is one of North America’s major Indigenous art marketplaces. SWAIA says the 2026 event featured nearly 1,000 artists from more than 200 Tribal Nations. Visitors could buy work directly from artists across jewelry, pottery, textiles, painting, sculpture and other juried categories.
The market has roots in a Santa Fe art fair first organized in 1922. More than a century later, the event has become an important marketplace for established and emerging Native artists, collectors and audiences.
