The Broken Chain Plot
When the 6 Nations of the Iroquois were struggling for their land and their very survival, 2 brothers find themselves on opposite sides of a war between the French and the British.
With the known shifting loyalties between members of the Iroquois Confederacy and the French, English and the Americans are depicted in the tale of Joseph Brandt (Eric Schweig), a young Native warrior impresses an Englishman named Sir William Johnson (Pierce Brosnan), during the 7 years war with the French that he takes Joseph Brandt out of the wilderness and put into the world of the white man.
It is there that he’s educated and develops cynicism toward his people and upbringing. The film is educational and worth watching to understand how much the American and Canadian government owes to the Onondaga, Oneida, Mohawk, and other native peoples for its principles of democracy and equality.

With so many iconic actors it’s petty hard to find my favorite one, but. I would have to say Floyd’Red Crow’ Westerman did a fantastic job.
