Canadian Indigenous businesses have a dedicated path into RES 2027. Canada’s Trade Commissioner Service (TCS) is organizing programming around the March 8–11 Reservation Economic Summit in Las Vegas for Indigenous businesses from Canada.

The Trade Commissioner Service currently lists preparatory webinars, complementary matchmaking, a Canada booth, a Canada reception and additional networking opportunities for the Canadian Indigenous business delegation.
Who Should Consider the Canadian Delegation?
TCS says all Indigenous businesses from Canada are welcome, while identifying food and beverage, gaming and entertainment, consumer products including Indigenous art and fashion, natural resources and energy, infrastructure and construction, technology and professional services as sectors that may particularly benefit.
Why RES Can Matter for Canadian Companies
RES creates a concentrated environment for meeting U.S. buyers, Tribal enterprises, Native-owned businesses, investors and partners. TCS describes its programming as including curated business-to-business meetings and on-the-ground support.
A Real Canadian RES Example
The Trade Commissioner Service has published a case study on Indigenous technology company Animikii, which participated in RES trade missions in 2023 and 2024. TCS reports that the company used matchmaking, the Canada pavilion and networking support to build U.S. connections and expand its market activity.

- Understand where you can legally and operationally deliver.
- Apply for the Canadian delegation when registration opens.
- Build target-buyer and partner lists before Las Vegas.

Current TCS Status
As of September 25, 2026, TCS says its RES 2027 delegation registration is not yet open and lists February 26, 2027 as the event-program registration deadline. Verify the current application status directly with the Trade Commissioner Service.
