Ethan Bear is a professional ice hockey defenseman currently playing for the Edmonton Oilers in the National Hockey League (NHL). He was drafted by the Oilers in the fifth round of the 2015 NHL Entry Draft, and made his NHL debut in the 2018-19 season.

Born in Ochapowace First Nation, Saskatchewan, Bear grew up playing hockey in the Canadian province. He honed his skills in the Western Hockey League (WHL), where he played for the Seattle Thunderbirds and the Medicine Hat Tigers. In his final season with the Tigers, Bear was named the WHL Defenseman of the Year.
